CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sahar Program 2026: Free Laptop, Internet Device, and Rs. 5,000 Monthly Stipend for Women

 ​The Government of Punjab, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has officially launched a groundbreaking initiative for women empowerment: the Sahar Program (Skill Enhancement Through Home Reach - SEHR). This program is specifically designed to help women across the province acquire market-driven vocational and digital skills right from the comfort of their homes.

​To ensure that financial or technical barriers do not stand in the way of learning, the government is providing completely free training along with highly attractive physical and financial incentives.

​Key Benefits and Incentives for Trainees

​Unlike regular training programs, the Sahar Program fully equips its selected digital track trainees with the necessary tools to succeed completely free of cost:

​Free Laptop: A brand-new laptop will be provided to trainees to attend online classes and perform practical work.

​Free Internet Device: A high-speed internet device will be given to ensure uninterrupted connectivity.

​Free Data Package: A monthly internet data package will be provided so students do not face any extra expenses.

​Monthly Stipend: To support the financial independence of the students, a monthly stipend (wazifa) of Rs. 5,000 will be given during the training period.

​Available Free Courses & Training Tracks

​The Sahar Program is run by the Women Development Department (WDD) Punjab in collaboration with the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF). It features four main training categories:

​1. Digital Skills Track (6 Months – Online)

​This track will train 2,040 women in highly paid freelance skills. The curriculum includes:

​Daraz and Shopify E-Commerce

​Product Research

​English Language & Communication

​Financial Literacy & Digital Content Creation

​2. Hospitality & Culinary Arts (3 Months)

​Perfect for women interested in the food, tourism, and management industries:

​Guest Relations & Front Desk Management

​3. Beautician Services (2 Months)

​A practical, hands-on course covering:

​Professional Makeup and Hair Styling

​Modern Skin Care and Nail Art

​4. Home-Based Vocational Trades

​Targeting 5,365 women across rural and urban Punjab, this track provides training in traditional physical skills like modern tailoring, cutting, and dress designing to help women launch their own boutique setups.



​Eligibility Criteria

​To apply for the CM Punjab Sahar Program, candidates must fulfill the following basic requirements:

​Gender: Only female applicants are eligible.

​Residency: Must hold a valid CNIC or Domicile of Punjab province.

​Education: Minimum qualification ranges from Matric to Graduation (depending entirely on the chosen course track).
